Sutherland Shire Netball Association

Sutherland Shire Netball Association Inc commenced in 1960 as the Sutherland Shire Girls Basketball Association. Since that time there have been many changes including the name of the Association to Netball.

There are a total of 34 sealed Courts at Bellingara Road, including an indoor stadium,and a further 12 sealed courts at The Ridge Sports Complex at Barden Ridge. Junior, Intermediate and Senior competitions are conducted on these courts. Our indoor stadium hosts club and Inter-District games on Saturdays and is, also, our administration centre and meeting area. Executive and Association meetings are held on a regular basis throughout the year.

At present our 8 and 9 years and 10 year old players play at Seymour Shaw Park on 22 grass courts.

Over the years we have achieved significant success at representative level and look forward to this continuing in future seasons.

On present figures released from NSW Netball, we are the biggest Netball Association in the State of New South Wales.

The Executive of the Association hope that all members and spectators enjoy their netball this year.
